The Day Urgency Became Real

From Rainmaker — The Day Urgency Became Real

We were at Walt Disney World.

One of those picture-perfect family days. Crowds, noise, laughter… controlled chaos.

And then in a split second…
Collin was gone.

Not “I can’t see him for a second”… gone.

That moment changes everything.

Your heart rate spikes.
Your mind races.
Nothing else matters.

Not the lines.
Not the rides.
Not your phone.
Not your schedule.

Just one thing: find your son.

I didn’t casually look.
I didn’t “get around to it.”
I didn’t say, “I’ll check after this ride.”

There was urgency.

I moved faster.
I thought sharper.
I spoke to everyone.
I searched with intensity.

Because when something truly matters…
urgency shows up automatically.

And here’s the question I ask agents all the time:

👉 Where is that same urgency in your business?

You say you want:

  • More listings
  • More closings
  • Financial freedom
  • A better life for your family

But do you pursue your goals
with the same urgency as a father searching for his lost child?

Or are you operating in… “I’ll get to it later”?

Here’s the truth most won’t say:

Your business isn’t where you want it to be
not because you don’t know what to do…

…but because you’re not doing it with urgency.

When Collin was lost, I didn’t need:

  • Motivation
  • A new CRM
  • Better scripts

I needed action. Immediate, focused, relentless action.

And that’s what I did—until I found him.

You don’t build a Rainmaker business with “almost.”
You build it with urgency.

Because what you say matters to you…
should show up in how you show up every single day.

So I’ll leave you with this:

If your goals were missing…
would you go look for them with urgency?

Or would you keep walking past the opportunity?

Decide what matters. Then pursue it like it’s missing.
