Is This How You Thought You Would Be Living At This Point

If you look back at your goals from five years ago, are you where you thought you would be right now? Most of us would answer no to that question. Let’s keep the questions going with:

  1. What’s the gap between where you thought you would be and where you are?
  2. What are the obstacles between where you want to be and where you are?
  3. What are you doing DIFFERENT to remove those obstacles?
  4. If you don’t change, why would your results change?

I speak with hundreds of real estate agents every week and I hear “I am happy and I’m comfortable.” Hmm …….. I wonder if you have just settled for good enough when great is still an option. If you looked at success on a scale of 1 to 10, most people are living somewhere between a 6 and 7. The answer to how can I move to the right of the middle is to do the things you don’t want to do. The path to mediocrity is to make decisions based on staying comfortable. Growth only happens when you make a decision to get comfortable with being uncomfortable.

Have you ever looked at your life and said something like “I wish I could be 25 again?” Of course you have, all of have said that. Why? It’s because knowing what we know now, we would change everything. Well, there is going to come a time when you wish you could be the age you are today. So, here’s the good news. YOU ARE!!! So, live your life as if it’s a “DO OVER” and make it your best do over life.
